The NBSS Fund

Since 1881, NBSS has been a beacon of opportunity, creating new pathways for all who walk through our doors. More and more people are seeking the life-changing benefits of our programs: connecting to our material world, building new skills, engaging new challenges, contributing to community, discovering meaningful work.

A gift to the NBSS Fund directly supports the School’s operation: supporting students, maintaining equipment, developing faculty, purchasing materials, tools, and technology, and so much more.

Operating costs go up every year, in ways we can鈥檛 control鈥攍ike the price of materials鈥攁nd also in ways we want to encourage, like competitive compensation and benefits for staff and faculty and the addition of teaching assistants to our instructor rosters.聽
